Brief A Possible Title for the Book- How to enjoy school: A Must Read for Parents We’ve lost sight of why we go to school and how to enjoy school. It has very much become an “education dept vs us” mentality with this growing rift that just gets wider each year. Would life for parents and students be better if it were “education dept & us as one”. How do parents then set their children up for the 1st 6 years of formal education and turn it into a journey their children will have fond memories of as they work towards their first major exam. So how do we find enrichment in our current education system and how to benefit from it. I want to deal with 2 main issues 1) how to develop a strong foundation in enjoying studying and learning 2) how to deal with this necessary evil called Exams. Talk about the education dept’s exam and testing philosophy. How do we work alongside the existing education system to our advantage and still make the journey enjoyable. I want to share a learning philosophy, a 5-step process that you can apply to not only for academic purposes but in anything you wish to pursue. What are the techniques used to view and tackle exam preparations and exams differently and effectively and how to use these techniques. I’ll discuss ways that derive the fullest advantage and enjoyment of attending school. Assessments books…do we really need them? We’ll discuss the drawbacks of using assessments books and if you can’t live without them…how to use them wisely and effectively.
