Light of my Life

LIGHT

The dews glitter,
and paints the green
- with life.
My eyes open to the light.
I refer back –
The Browns needled me,
The Greys besieged,
The Blacks haunted –
My breathes sunk.
The days were numerous,
My thirsts were begging,
I surfaced my red feet –
and felt the red drizzles,
I looked for a soothe –
and saw my hands drizzle far,
My eyes watered in pain.
I touched the light –
I touched the dark –
They closed me,
left me to solitude.
I strolled , still –
With the numerous days
to touch the LIGHT.
Even when my hands were red,
Even when my legs were red,
Even when my eyes were wet,
I thrived for LIGHT.
I lay back , today –
The lights illumine –
I feel the red drizzles
have concluded their liveliness,
A new LIGHT has emerged.
I look up ,look up to my sky,
And enlarge my canvas
painted with flowers –
The new days are here to stay
With my canvas around –
My eyes hum,
My legs sway,
The new SUMMER is here to stay.
